Our clients have a choice in how they wish the side frames to appear. They can remain white or be provided with a black border. The latter is perfectly suited to black and white images as it supports their radiance and the visual impact upon the viewer. It is also possible that the folded edge is designed seamlessly with the photo on the screen, so there is no optical disturbance. Just select the desired option on the order page. All alternatives will be implemented by us without charge.

Gallery feeling

There are two alternatives available regarding the manufacture of your photo canvas frame:
Firstly a 2cm thick wooden frame which is stable and secure and gives the photo a plastic screen charisma. This size is particularly suitable for small and medium size motifs.

The 2nd alternative is for your printed canvas to be framed in a gallery context. The prestigious gallery frame has a thickness of 4cm. The gallery context is always the first choice of artists who wish to give a luxury finish to their print. We can also recommend this frame even for very large photo print formats.

Your personal frame design

You have the choice between white, black or printed edges.

If you choose to print the picture arround the edges, be aware that parts of the image get lost on the front side.

Best quality canvas for your own personal photo gallery

We use artist canvas made of 100% cotton. The weight of the high quality canvas fabric is 360g per square meter, so therefore has a long shelf life. We use an Italian linen fabric that is characterized by excellent colour brilliance. This type of canvas is also used by professional art galleries, working primarily in watercolour and oil paintings. The high quality and heavy cotton fabric that we use also has many advantages for photo printing. Before printing the fabric, the canvas is coated four times within a unique coating process. The type of coating is exactly matched to the colours and the printers that we use. With this we achieve a special brilliance and colour depth of the printed image. The durability and light resistance of colour printing is supported by this special coating process.

High quality wooden frames for your photo canvas

We only use wooden frames when framing your photo canvas. The multiple use of natural wood sizing ensures that the frame cannot become distorted. Our reliable controlled wood is sourced from a sustainable production in the Nordic countries which are subject to strict quality control. Before cutting the frame rails, the wood is expertly dried, so that it contains only the necessary minimum moisture. Stretcher bars, which have a length of more than 100cm are strengthened by a certain stabilization of the cross. All photo canvases use wooden frames made of high quality solid or laminated wood that is processed under strict monitored guidelines. A wooden frame can be tightened at any time in the future by using the supplied wooden wedges.

Realistic colours by first-class screen printing

The quality of the photo canvas depends firstly on the materials used, and secondly from the know-how and the real print process used. We print on Hewlett Packard industry printers which guarantees a first-class screen printing process. Thermal Colour Printing stands for high colour brilliance and a natural colour. All colour gradations are implemented realistically. In addition, we guarantee through the colours used and the printing process, a higher than average life span of your canvas photo. Naturally we take into account all aspects of environmental protection. The high-end printing inks are characterized by a high degree of pigmentation resulting in photo-realistic motifs, which have a brilliant radiance. The manufacturer guarantees light-resistance for up to 200 years. Less high-quality printing or even use of average quality materials, such as those found on the market are incomparable with what our company can offer.

The entire production process in developing a photo canvas is implemented by us manually and professionally. We do not use an automated production process. After printing the canvas, the colours of your subject will move during the drying stage on the coated cotton, gaining a good resilience against external influences such as light and dust. In the next step, we stretch the canvas over the individually designed wooden frame. The sides of the canvas are stapled securely to the back of the wooden frame. The four corners are cut accurately and secured in place. It is important that the overlapping sides of the canvas are as flat as possible to ensure that the picture hangs smoothly against the wall. With our experience we are able to adjust the tension of the canvas perfectly to the frame. An excessive tension would be a risk for the durability of the picture, a lower tension would damage the visual appearance of the subject. The orientation of the canvas on the frame has a huge impact on the quality of the artwork. If you have chosen a black or a white border a millimeter-accurate alignment is required. The professionalism of our staff ensures that every photo canvas is made perfectly in house.

We offer printing behind acrylic-glass in the thickness of 3 mm and 8 mm. With a photo using a 8mm thickness, the result is even more impressive. Diamond-ground polishing around the sides completes the photo finish.

Your acrylic-glass product is exclusively printed behind high quality acrylic glass, a material, which is also known under the brand name Plexiglas ®. Acrylic is lighter and more resistant to breakage than ordinary glass and is therefore particularly well suited for use in residential and work areas.

Our production uses acrylic glass plates which are thoroughly checked before the printing process, and therefore have perfect optical properties so that you can be sure to receive from us a crystal clear picture and a durable product.

The production of your acrylic-glass photos are created using the latest printing technology. We use a Océ Arizona 350 GT printer and special, light-resistant inks. This method directly and uniformly applies the ink in several layers on the acrylic glass and then it is fixed by UV light. Unlike the acrylic-glass products of other suppliers who only print the photos on paper which is then laminated to a glass plate, we print your photo directly behind the acrylic glass surface. The advantage is obvious: paper can easily peel off from the plate or dissolve by humidity. Our acrylic glass prints are therefore also suitable for outdoor use or humid climate.

Suspension systems:

Your acrylic photo must be hung in order for it to be shown perfectly. We offer the appropriate mounting kits for all available formats. You can order them easily at the end of the ordering process.
